In October 2023, Carolyn Shuster Fournier gave a recital on the organ of St. Bride's. Carolyn is the Honorary Organist (Choir Organ) at La Trinité Church in Paris.

Here, she plays Eclogue Ecossaise by Théodore-César Salomé who was an organist at La Trinité in the 19th century.

Concert Venue and Photography.

With its excellent acoustic and beautiful interior, St Bride's is a popular venue for concerts, recitals and cultural events of various kinds, especially during Glasgow's West End Festival in June of each year. As well as our magnificent 1865 Hill organ, we have a small chamber organ which sits by the south choir stalls, a Steinway Model D concert grand piano, and a Yamaha rehearsal upright piano in the choir vestry. Our large Crypt downstairs provides ample space for performers to prepare, rehearse, relax and gather before their performance where there is also a baby grand piano. We have a downstairs kitchen, and toilets on both levels (including a disabled toilet downstairs). There is full disabled access to the Crypt from street level, and a portable ramp followed by a stair lift for disabled access to the main church from the side porch. Please contact stbridehire@gmail.com to book the church as a concert venue or to use for photography.
