St Bride's Women's Group

As Autumn is on its way we are now thinking of the Women's Group winter zoom meetings.  At present we meet on an ad hoc basis.

A number of speakers have kindly agreed to give of their time: The programme is as follows:

1. October Tuesday 29th Pilgrimage: Home and Away Mary Bowden

2. November Tuesday 19th  Alison Gifford Guild of Servers

3. December, Tuesday 17th  Rebecca Tavener A (very!) brief history of liturgical music, from the Temple in Jerusalem to St Bride's, explaining why we do what we do!'

4. January Wednesday 15th 2025 Father Peter "Day by day we worship thee: daily prayer at St Bride's"

5. February Thursday 27th Katja Frimberger "Art and God's Mystery".

During the session 2023/2024 we met to listen to our Steinway piano being played, enjoyed conversation over supper and also had meetings in person. We would anticipate the same format for the coming session 2024/ 2025

The main aim of the group is to bring friends and women of Saint Brides together whether they live in Hyndland or the surrounding area or further afield.

Dates of future meetings will be posted on the Saint Brides website and social media, along with our monthly magazine; the Oystercatcher. Alternatively you can contact us at stbrideswomensgroup@gmail.com.

We would love to see you – a warm welcome awaits you!
